Nowhere Else!
East Coast - Historical & Cultural Journey
10 Days
The 10 days long East Coast Historical & Cultural Tour is a slow, sensory walk through Tanzania’s coastal memory, created by Katalin. We move between Dar es Salaam and Tanga and visit the coastal towns, taste food, walk old streets and listen to stories carried by the ocean, architecture and everyday life. This journey is about history felt through markets, kitchens, ports and conversations, not through museums alone. It is a favorite because it reveals how different cultures met, clashed, loved, traded and survived along the coast. Join our journey and let the coast speak for itself.
Dar es Salaam, Kaole, Bagamoyo, Saadani National Park, Pangani, Ushongo Beach, Tongoni, Tanga, Maasai villages.
English is spoken throughout the journey, and we assist with practical matters whenever needed.

ABOUT THE PRICES
Still Below Safari Costs
For the price of a safari — or often less — this journey offers something entirely different.
Within a single experience, you move through modern cities, quiet coastal towns, historic sites, Maasai villages, and untouched beaches. It is a journey that connects multiple layers of Tanzania, rather than focusing on just one.
Instead of concentrating on wildlife alone, you gain a broader understanding of the country, its people, its history, and its present.
Pricing may vary depending on the size of the group and accommodation choices, as we work with carefully selected local stays rather than fixed, large-scale hotels or lodges. This flexibility allows us to shape each journey while keeping it accessible.
This trip proves that Tanzania is not just about Zanzibar or the safaris, also, that Tanzania has a fascinating history which is worth to be told and remembered.
That there are unknown places worth to be visited.
A once in a lifetime experience, for sure.
